In Western Australia, we have many groups—sports groups, cultural groups, multicultural groups, religious groups, and business groups. But there is no independent platform where ordinary people can openly discuss the future of our country and our communities.

This gathering is not about grants, funding, or supporting any political party. It is about ideas, discussion, and the future.

This Sath is an opportunity for people to listen, learn, and respectfully discuss different ideas. We may not agree on everything, but together we can identify challenges and opportunities for our communities.

The ideas raised today may help guide future discussions and future action.

Every voice matters. Every idea matters.
