The Cause

The funds will be used to directly connect critical patients to hospital beds, home ICUs, plasma donors, ventilators, oxygen and BiPAP machines. HOH has a network of volunteers on the ground, on Whatsapp, and on Instagram working day and night to verify leads and connect those in need in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Gujarat, Assam...everywhere.

Class Description

Ever wanted to get into Hip-Hop Dance but got intimidated by the thought of going to a class? I will be teaching a hip-hop choreography focused class to some Desi-Hiphop music aimed to push dancers at all levels! The class will be at the West Coast Dance Theatre in LA with the capacity limited to 25 people. If tickets are sold out, please send me an email at [email protected] to get on the waitlist.

Technique Drills

This is going to the first 20-30 minutes of class on getting you familiar with the movement in the choreography section while warming you up. Expect some combination of the following:

Bounces, Rolls, Rocks, finding your groove, Textures, Hip-hop history

Choreography

This section will be the next 45 mins of class. I will use some components of what we do in the first section to learn a piece of choreography.

Post-Class Feedback

I am open to giving feedback to everyone through class videos. If you film yourself doing it, send me a video and I will give you a call to discuss what we can work on. This class is to push our community forward in the Hiphop dance space.

If you have ever been to any of my classes, it has an extremely open and non-judgmental atmosphere for people to explore movement. We will be guiding you through the choreography and explaining tidbits of Hiphop dance history/ fundamentals.

You do not need any previous experience to come to class. Everyone at all levels will get something out of this class.
