🧱🐢Join us at the Corn Creek visitor center for a fun, family-friendly drop-in program exploring the amazing wildlife of the Mojave Desert through hands-on learning and creative building! 🐏🌵In partnership with LUGVegas (LEGO Users Group of Southern Nevada) and Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, visitors will have the opportunity to discover how desert wildlife survive in one of the harshest environments in North America. Learn about iconic Mojave species like the Desert Bighorn Sheep and Mojave Desert Tortoise while exploring real wildlife specimens, including a tortoise shell, tortoise scat, and bighorn sheep skull and horns.
🦎 What to Expect:
• Interactive informational wildlife education table
• Real wildlife specimens and visual aids
• Custom LEGO® wildlife displays created by LUGVegas members
• “LEGO Play Bricks” hands-on building area
• Creative opportunities for visitors to design and build their own desert wildlife adaptations
Participants of all ages are invited to use imagination and engineering to create wildlife adapted for desert survival while learning about the unique characteristics that help Mojave creatures thrive.
