Desert of Maine Trip

The cost of the trip is $5 and includes transportation both ways, admission into The Desert of Maine to enjoy all the activities available, and a ticket for a game of mini golf.

The bus will leave campus near the Commons at 11:00am, and we should arrive by Noon.

You will have until 2:00pm to spend time exploring the desert. The desert has self-guided tours, hiking trails, a snack bar to purchase food, gemstone mining, a restored farmhouse museum, a Model T photo op, and much more to explore.

At 2:00pm, we will meet up to play mini golf, and then we will depart. We should arrive back on campus by 4:00pm.

Please be sure to bring comfortable footwear, spending money, and anything you would like to have with you throughout the day. Outside food is allowed, so if you prefer to bring your own drinks and snacks, you can do so. You will not have access to the bus until it is time to depart.
