Desert City Jazz presents "Drop the Needle II"

The 70s and 80s were filled with great music by artists such as Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, and so many more.

Many hits from that era are still cherished today. One reason for these songs’ enduring success is that they incorporated elements of jazz into their music. And they usually included horns!

When Desert City Jazz presented “Drop the Needle” last spring to a sold-out audience, many people called it our best concert yet! So on April 14, we’ll be back with more exciting big band arrangements of great music from the 70s and 80s. Don’t miss “Drop the Needle II”!
