The July meeting of the Desert Aquarist Society will feature the 10 Gallon Challenge. The idea is simple, aquascape a 10 gallon to any "Movies" related theme. Entries must contain water of some sort, even a spray or splash will do as long as it goes with your chosen Movie. Entries, a max of 3 photos, must be submitted prior to July 12th by email to [email protected]. The 10 Gallon Challenge will be judged by all who attend the July meeting. The meeting will also have our Members Only raffle with gift cards from our Affiliate Members, along with both the silent and main auction.

Here is the Agenda for our upcoming meeting:
1:45 p.m. - Check-in & Setup
1:55 p.m. - Silent Auction Begins
2:00 p.m. - Welcome and Introductions
2:10 p.m. - Member-only Raffle - $10 gift cards to our affiliate stores. (you can become a member on the day of the meeting to participate)
2:30 p.m. - 10 Gallon Challenge
3:15 p.m. - Silent Auction Ends, Q/A Session
3:30 p.m. - Main Auction Begins
4:30 p.m. - Meeting Ends
Rules for the auctions:
You are allowed a maximum of 10 items to submit for the auctions (5 standard, 5 silent).
Please label your items with the number, your name, and item description if applicable.
Please fill out the Auction items form when you arrive.
The Silent Auction begins at 1:55 p.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Place bids at the Silent Auction table.
The Main Auction begins at 3:30 p.m.
Proceedings from both auctions will be settled by cash only at the conclusion of the meeting.

Club Membership
Adult Membership: For persons 18 years and older - $20
Membership fee is prorated as follows and valid until the end of the year:
January/February/March - $20
April/May/June - $15
July/August/September - $10
October/November/December - $5
Junior Membership: For youth 6 through 17 years of age - $10
Membership fee is prorated as follows and valid until the end of the year:
January through June - $10
July through December - $5

Enter member-specific contests like the Bowl Show and the Home Show and participate in member-only raffles at each meeting.
