Des Moines Workshops With Master Drummer Bolokada Conde

Join internationally acclaimed Master Drummer Bolokada Conde for an unforgettable weekend of traditional Malinke drumming. Originally from Morowaya, Guinea, he served for more than a decade as the Lead Soloist of Les Percussions de Guinee (Guinea's National Ballet).
He has taught internationally, including at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he was a full-time Visiting Artist from 2008-2011. He recently returned from an extended engagement in China. This is his sixth fantabulous visit to Des Moines.
