Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, October 23, at 10 AM local at derrickstroup.com
Stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup is taking his high-energy Southern storytelling across the country with his first-ever headlining theater tour, the Running Hot Tour. Following the initial tour launch in March, Stroup has extended into 2027 with 10 shows, bringing his rapid-fire comedy to your city.
Derrick Stroup is anything but your typical slow-talking Southerner. With the cadence of an angry auctioneer and a knack for turning the everyday absurdities of life into hilarious stories, Stroup delivers a uniquely energetic brand of stand-up that has quickly made him one of comedy’s most exciting rising stars.
The Running Hot Tour marks a new chapter for Stroup, following his two appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the March 10 premiere of his first Netflix special, Nostalgic, which chronicles growing up as a ’90s kid in rural Alabama. He has toured with Bert Kreischer, Larry the Cable Guy, John Crist and Nate Bargatze, and appeared in the feature film The Breadwinner.
