DERBY PEACE WEEK SEPTEMBER 2025.
Derby Peace Week is being held between Monday the 15th and Sunday the 21st of September.
If you would like to help, or organise an event for it, please get in touch. There will be art, and music, and films, and talks and much more on the theme of peace and positive action.

Wed 17 Sept 6-9.30pm Books Not Bans: A Resistance Gathering. Experience a display of banned books, a short film, readings and discussion on why censorship is a threat to peace.

Thurs 18 Sept 4 -7pm. Artcore Celebrating Peace & Togetherness with Osnabruck. Workshop followed by music, songs & poetry for peace. Featuring Ashti and Seni Seneviratne and a video link with Osnabruck.
Fri 19 Sept 6pm QUAD Film Put Your Soul On Your Hand and Walk. An intimate, first-hand perspective of life in Gaza, told through a series of video calls between filmmaker Sepideh Farsi and young Palestinian photojournalist Fatma Hassona.
