We are pleased to announce that the next monthly Deptford Cinema Film and Book Club will take place on Sunday March 12th at the Albany in Deptford - we'll be discussing Eileen, directed by William Oldroyd and starring Anne Hathaway, and the book of the same name by Ottessa Moshfegh. We'll meet at the cafe and, for those that fancy, go on for a drink at the Jam Circus afterwards.This follows the February meetup when we discussed Yorgos Lanthimos's Poor Things and the book by the same name by Alasdair Grey.
You can purchase drinks and snacks from the bar and do come armed with suggestions for films to watch / books to read over the coming months!
The group is informal and lively and we look forward to welcoming new members.
