The DPU Jazz Ensemble will present a concert featuring two important works made famous by the Count Basie Orchestra, "Ja-Da" and "Blues in Hoss' Flat." Rounding out the program is the beautiful ballad "A Time For Love," an arrangement of John Coltrane's seminal composition "Naima," the upbeat pop oriented piece "Hit The Ground Running," and two works for the more intimate instrumentation known as the pocket big band.
