Denver’s New Recycling & Composting Rules: Resource Fair in McGregor Square

Join us for Denver’s URCO Resource Fair at McGregor Square on Tuesday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Denver’s rolling out our new Universal Recycling and Composting Ordinance (URCO). We want businesses, apartment buildings and restaurants to feel ready and supported for the new requirements. This event is an opportunity for businesses, property owners, haulers and community partners to connect directly with city staff, learn more about URCO and get the resources you need to implement it.
At the event, attendees can:
- Enjoy breakfast, coffee and informal networking
- Get hands-on experience with recycling and compost set-ups
- Ask questions directly to city staff
- Get signage and resource materials to help you get started
- Hear examples of how waste diversion is already working locally
This is not a ticketed event, but RSVPs are encouraged to help with planning. We will update this invite and all attendees with parking and transportation options soon.
