Denver Capitol Tour: Historical, Legislative, Attic, and Dome

There are 10 adult parent chaperone tickets available and 20 student tickets available. Unfortunately this ratio cannot be changed because of the pre-planning requirements from the capitol tour.

Instructions for our tour:
Personal items like backpacks and purses are strongly discouraged. The Capitol does not have storage for any personal items, and as such, students will have to carry whatever they bring with them. Anyone with a bag will also have to put it through the X-ray machine at security check-in. This will slow your entry to the capitol and could also delay the start of your tour.

Unless there is inclement weather, there is no lunch space available within the Capitol. Groups are encouraged to have lunch outside on the Capitol grounds, in Civic Center Park across the street, on your transportation, or back at your school.

Visitors are expected to BE ON THEIR BEST BEHAVIOR at all times. In order to have the best experience possible, please make sure all your field trip attendees understand behavior expectations PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT. Capitol Guides reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time due to misbehavior!

We ask that hats and hoods are not worn within the building due to our House and Senate gallery protocols.
