Denver Concealed Carry Class – Weekday CHP Course (Wed & Thu Evenings)

Looking for a weekday CCW class in Denver? This two-night weekday evening Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) course is designed for busy professionals who cannot attend weekend classes.

👉 This class is broken into TWO evening sessions (Wednesday & Thursday) rather than one full day. Both nights are required for completion.

Our Colorado Concealed Handgun Course fully complies with the new Colorado law taking effect July 1, 2025. This course is designed for individuals who have never fired a firearm before or have no prior training, so don’t worry—it’s not a hard course to pass.

Training begins in the classroom at:

We cover essential topics including firearm safety, Colorado gun laws, basic pistol fundamentals (grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control), mental preparedness, responsible carry, proper storage, use-of-force laws, and firearm maintenance.

After completing the classroom portion, students attend the live-fire session at an indoor range in either Aurora or Denver:

6:45 PM – Classroom Instruction Begins
8:15 PM – Break

6:30 PM – Classroom Review / Range Brief
7:15 PM – Dry Practice & Safety Prep
8:00 PM – Depart for Range
8:30 PM – Live Fire Instruction & – Qualification Course
9:30 PM – Qualification Paperwork
10:00 PM – End

Format: Structured for beginners with step-by-step coaching throughout
Breaks: Short breaks provided during instruction

• Basic Pistol Fundamentals (grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control)

• Firearm Maintenance

✅ Written Exam – Must be passed with a minimum score of 80%

✅ Live Fire Qualification – Mandatory shooting of 50 rounds

✅ Mandatory 8 hours of training required by law (Colorado Revised Statutes § 18-12-203)

Distance: 21 feet
Rounds Fired: 50 rounds

Scoring Requirement: Must hit within the silhouette area with a minimum passing score of 70%.

This weekday format works well for students who want professional instruction without committing an entire weekend. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive the certification required to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit under Colorado Revised Statutes § 18-12-203.
