Since 2014, Avourneen has been one of Colorado's foremost Celtic outfits. The group combines traditional Irish balladry, Celtic instrumentals and original music for a result that's unique in the region. Avourneen is Adam Goldstein on guitar/vocals/bouzouki, CL Morden on fiddle/mandolin, Alice Alister on bass and guest players Marty Smith on bouzouki, Katie Burns on cello and Chris Rose on drums. From drinking songs to airs to slow airs and waltzes, Avourneen offers a distinct spin on a range of material.
