Dent May's musical journey intertwines with his morning ritual, encapsulated by the question, "What's for breakfast?" This whimsical inquiry, part inside joke, part mantra for perseverance, now serves as the title of his sixth album, released on March 29, 2024, via Carpark Records. "What's For Breakfast?" marks a nostalgic and rollicking LP, breaking daily routines and rediscovering the joys of songwriting.

For over 17 years, Dent May has been a pioneering figure in bedroom pop, crafting impeccably melodic tunes. With this latest album, he ventures into new territory, playfully experimenting with both new and vintage musical inspirations. Revisiting the energetic guitar rock of his youth, May found a vibrant palette to explore, as seen in lead single "One Call, That's All," a frenetic burst of guitar-driven intensity. The album also features collaborations with artists like Jimmy Whispers, Paul Cherry, Jordana, and Pearl & The Oysters, enriching May's sound with fresh perspectives and shared creative energy.

"What's For Breakfast?" is not only a testament to Dent May's musical evolution but also a celebration of the collaborative spirit that fuels his creativity. Through playful experimentation and heartfelt lyricism, May invites listeners on a journey of rediscovery, urging them to seize the moment and embrace life's fleeting joys.
