Dendrochronology: The Study of Tree Rings

Every tree has a story to tell! Dendrochronology is the science of dating events and environmental change using tree rings. The study of tree rings can tell us a lot about the life of a tree, and therefore its habitat. Join Dr. Chad King at Ray Harral Nature Center for a presentation on dendrochronology and a demonstration of tree coring and aging within the park.
