About this Event
This is a free webinar for anyone who is considering the SQE and wants to understand more about it and guidance on what to think about when planning and preparing to embark on the SQE journey.
Are you thinking about doing the SQE and have lots of questions? The internet can be a minefield with so much information offered, it can be confusing and exhausting.
Typical questions that might go through your mind:
• Exactly what does the SQE entail?
• Can I do the SQE without any external help/course?
• Who should I do my SQE preparation course with when I’m self-funding?
• How hard is it really?
• Do I need to do a training contract?
• Can I use my existing legal work experience to count as Qualifying Work Experience (QWE)?
• If I have a law degree, should I do the SQE or LPC?
Attend this webinar which aims to offer clarity around some of those questions and much more. There will be a live Q&A at the end of the session.
Demystifying the SQE covers:
• Breakdown of what SQE1 and SQE2 entail
• How to choose a training provider
• Pros and cons of self-studying
• Breakdown of what counts as QWE
• Should you do the SQE or LPC
The focus of this webinar will NOT be on how to pass the SQE exam (a separate webinar focuses on that).
You will leave this session with clarity and more confidence on how to approach the SQE journey that is best for you.
Please note this is an online webinar via Zoom and registration is required to attend.
