Have you ever wondered what 'bonsai' is and how to get started? Join Matt James of Thousand Cranes Bonsai for an introductory talk and hands on demonstration of the basics of bonsai. Matt will go over all the facts about the ancient craft that blends art and horticulture, and you'll get to watch how to start your own from nursery stock.

***All classes this summer will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
