Demolition Days: Vic Bondi and his Issues/SLIP~ons/Uptights/Earmarked
About this Event
Since his last Vancouver appearance at Green Auto in March, 2026, Vic has a new record on Alternative Tentacles and a new band. By the time they get to Red Gate in November, they'll be fresh off a half dozen dates with the Crosses (ex-Die Kreuzen) in the midwest and at Fest in Gainesville, FL, so you know they're gonna be TIGHT!
A ton has been written about Vic over the years, but Al MacInnis summarized things nicely in his blog piece, which also found it's way into in the Georgia Straight.
Vancouver garage punk 'n' rollers, SLIP~ons will be playing songs from their plus a mix of older stuff and maybe a brand new one. Here's the Straight review from the spring.
Jesse Gander may be better known as the Juno Award winning producer, but his current band, Uptights, will also be making an appearance.
As if that wasn't enough fun, Matt Earle (from Dead End Drive-In) reached out to me about adding his new project Earmarked to the bill, having seen Vic last time. In short, we're stoked!
Red Gate is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded Indigenous territories of the wməθkwəyəm (Musqueam), sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and selílwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
