What to expect:

We’ll offer a refresher on the Louisiana legislative session with a focus on health and justice related policy. You’ll have a chance to mingle with our staff and other advocates in your community to find out how you can stay plugged in and get recharged for the work ahead.

Don’t leave without getting some advocacy done among friends. We’ll have a “Thanks & Spanks station” where you can write a short note to your legislators — praise where it’s earned, and call outs on what missed the mark. We’ll provide everything you need: cards, pens, stamps, and a (non-partisan) template to set you up. Choose to sign your name or send anonymously; we’ll hand-deliver or mail the notes after the event.

First drink is on us: show your RSVP or give your name at the door and we’ll cover your first beverage — beer, mocktail, or soda.

Come for the welcome drink, stay for the conversation and scheming. We’ll see you there!
