Democracy Needs Us Now! Fun & educational voting event for all on Aug. 11

2024 is a critical year for our democracy. Spend a couple of hours Sunday afternoon SAVING DEMOCRACY with us! We'll learn about candidates and issues, how to increase voter turnout in your circle of influence, and we'll have an important conversation with Lisa Jacob about how to counter the real threat of White Christian Nationalism whose adherents are actively suppressing the vote in Tarrant County.

You'll find plentiful parking, friendly greeters and folks to help you navigate the event, plus light snacks, and door prizes!

We'll also have voting registrars on hand, info on district maps and how to find "who represents me," the basics of voting as well as more advanced information about what's at stake as we move toward November, and more! Reps from all those dynamic organizations you've wanted to know more about will be on hand and eager to meet you!

This is a free, non-partisan event. Limited to 75 attendees.
