Demo Class for Platinum/Palladium Printing

The demonstration will begin with a brief history of the platinum/palladium process and a discussion of the steps involved in the making of a print. Then, using a digitally enlarged negative, the instructor will demonstrate the entire process including: selecting a paper, mixing chemistry, coating the chemistry on the paper, exposing the image, and the development and processing of the print. In addition, the relative merits of working from digital negatives vs from original film negatives will be discussed.
