Get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and connect with artist Garrett Williams during Studio Saturdays in the Cosmic Studio at the DAM! He will be in the Studio on July 4, 11, 18, and 25. Artist demos and all activities in the Cosmic Studio are included in general admission, which is FREE for everyone 18 and under, as well as for museum members.
The Cosmic Studio draws inspiration from artists across time and space and invites visitors to experience the future of art through three hands-on activities. You'll paint, weave, and dream your way into the deepest reaches of human creativity, then return more connected to yourself and the worlds around you.
About the Artist:
Garrett Williams is a Denver based artist that loves to collect, scan, and photograph old artworks to bring new life to them. He sees himself as a facilitator of the fun goofy medieval arts, and a storyteller through the vast collage and tunnel book worlds he creates.
