Demo and Dine

Vivo Care Choices' Demo and Dine sessions are back in 2022, providing an opportunity for people using services, their carers and family members and anyone else interested to learn how to cook delicious recipes.

The next Demo and Dine session will take place from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday 3 March at the Little Roodee Café in Chester. Vivo staff and people training up at the café will demonstrate how to make recipes from scratch.

Not only does the Little Roodee Café provide delicious food for customers from Monday to Sunday, but it also has vocational training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism.

The Demo and Dine sessions take place on a monthly basis with a different theme and recipe each time so you always have something new to learn and take away.

What’s on the menu

• Tomato and mozzarella bruschetta

• Chicken with creamy cauliflower cheese and bacon, served with green beans

• Mini individual trifles

Tickets are priced at £14.55 per person and this includes food for you to enjoy during your visit, recipe packs and much more.

The sessions are open to all Vivo services, as well as partner organisations, and people taking part must have their usual evening support in place, whether that is with Vivo staff or parents, carers or family members. Any staff, parents, carers or family members wanting to eat will need to pay for a ticket to cover costs.

Parking is available next to the café at the Little Roodee car park, but you’ll need to pay the standard charges.
