Dear friends, I am inviting you for the last time to Demether and Persephone evening
We will say farewell to this heartwarming project on the 29th October in Lijm en Cultuur in Delft.
Now, I am sitting near by Demether sanctuary in Dion in Greece. And for the ancient Greeks, the name of goddess Demether meant ´Mother Earth´
Great celebrations devoted to Demether and her daughter Persephone were held every October in the season of seeding, known as Thesmophoria. Woman initiated in the sacred rites were the main actors in secret ceremonies celebrating the fertility of the earth.
Release your mind to freedom through the creation of living mythology!
Dance Journey connected to Dance Ritual Performance (around 35min).
The whole evening is inspired by the Myth of Demether and Persephone. The myth of Life, Death, and Rebirth. We are going to connect Dance Performance and Dance Journey.
It will open some sensations, emotions feeling, and energy moves in you. In some way, it will resonate with you. And this reaction we will explore after the performance, during the dance journey, where I will guide you to experience and transform in your own dance and your own life.

When?
Saturday 29th October
Symbolically/Energetically Demeter is Mother/Goddes Earth and Persephone is Creation. In the Myth, Persephone spends part of the year in Underworld (winter) and part on the Earth (summer).
