Dementia Live® Experience
About this Event
The Dementia Live® Experience is an immersive, hands-on simulation designed to help caregivers, family members, friends, healthcare professionals, and community members better understand what it can feel like to live with cognitive impairment. During this 45-minute experience, participants face everyday tasks while navigating sensory, physical, and cognitive challenges that mirror those often experienced by individuals living with dementia.
More than a presentation, Dementia Live® provides meaningful insight that fosters understanding, empathy, and compassion, while helping participants gain practical strategies for improving communication and caregiving.
At Town Square University Parkway, we believe every caregiver should have the opportunity to experience Dementia Live®. That's why we're proud to offer this nationally recognized program free of charge during our annual Health Expo & Resource Fair.
