About this Event
Dementia affects all of us but still remains a taboo topic, that people may find hard to talk about. So, why not come along and try to draw about it? Join us in this workshop, where we will provide a space for people to come together, learn about living and dying with dementia, and learn to express yourself through power of comics and storytelling.
The event will be delivered by Dr Ian Williams who is an award-winning comics artist, educator, and doctor and hosted by two early-career dementia researchers who worked as part of the EMBED-Care project which delivered the Dementia Journeys exhibition.
3.30pm: Doors open
4-5.30pm: Workshop and discussion
5.30-6pm: Networking and socialising
Catering and drinks will be provided.
