Join renowned gerontologist Dr. Tam Cummings for a powerful, informative session designed to support and empower those caring for a loved one with dementia. “Dementia: It Takes a Village” is a FREE educational event open to the public, hosted at Town Square University Parkway, a leading provider of adult day services for seniors and individuals living with memory loss.

This dementia caregiver class provides families and care partners with practical tools for dementia care, emotional support, and creative strategies for delivering compassionate, confident care at home or in an adult day care setting.

Whether you’re just beginning your dementia caregiving journey or navigating the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias (cognitive impairments), this course offers real-world insights, a deeper understanding of cognitive decline, and a strong sense of community.

Following the event, guests are encouraged to stay for a FREE dementia caregiver support group, offering continued connection, encouragement, and shared experiences with others facing similar challenges from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
