Dementia-friendly ParkBathe in MHA The Wilderness

ParkBathe is a citizen-science project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of people who might not normally engage in wellness activities. ParkBathe uses secular aspects of forest bathing, forest school and mindfulness and is simply walking slowly in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)

The 1 hr guided sessions consist of small groups (adults 16+ only) guided by a ParkBathe walk leader. This walk is suitable for people with dementia and those with low mobility and wheelchair users. Carers are welcome too.

These sessions are offered free with the option to DONATE. We ask you to pause a moment before you book and consider if you can afford a donation ticket today. Donating allows us to continue providing these walks to those who cannot afford to pay.

MEETING PLACE: MHA The Wilderness, 17 Shirley Church Rd, Croydon, CR95AL. Meet at the Information Centre inside the garden which is located to the right of the car park through the gate.

To comply with our insurance, all participants must agree to the walk T&C at Eventbrite checkout.

CITIZEN SCIENCE:

Over the last year we have taken over 650 people on walks and collected a wealth of health data. These results are available via our website.
