As part of our Year of Welcome, Dementia Training Australia are leading a tailored training session specifically for us as a Cathedral community. We extend this invitation to other churches.We know there are many of us who have direct experience of dementia or supporting someone who is living with dementia. This training is designed for young and old alike and is for EVERYONE in our community.
Training will include communication and relationships, person-centred care, recognising changed behaviours, and dementia training for volunteers.
