Demand WF Council Divest from Israel's War Machine

WF Council Pension Fund has invested £18.7 million pounds in companies who profit from the sale of arms, chemical weapons, security technologies and stolen land to Israel.

Over the last month we have taken our petition to high streets, colleges, mosques, friends and neighbours to let WF Council know that our community is against investments that enable Israeli apartheid and genocide. We have gained over 1,600 signatures! That's over halfway to triggering a full debate on the issue in the Council chamber...

To get to 3,000 we need you to help us reach more workers, residents, students and organisations in Waltham Forest.

Join this open meeting with friendly neighbours to make some concrete plans with us. We will guide the meeting with an agenda and breakout groups which encourage everyone to contribute in a way that suits them.

Venue Info.

The Hornbeam Community Cafe & Environment Centre has up to 25 seats in the small cafe space downstairs. As it is not a large venue we would appreciate it if you could return your ticket and let the organiser know if you can no longer make it.

Access

The cafe has step-free access, a ground-floor toilet and a kitchenette to make hot and cold drinks. If you have any questions or a request for something that would make it easier for you to attend the meeting, such as translation, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to provide it.
