DEMA 2026: First Aid Leadership Workshop (Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2026)

The NAUI Powered by DAN First Aid Leadership Workshop (FAIW) is for any Diving Leader who wishes to teach the NAUI First Aid – Powered by DAN courses. Non-NAUI members may also attend the workshop as a DAN course.
First Aid Instructor:
These workshops are designed to demonstrate quality First Aid and CPR skills, provide valuable information on First Aid standards, and give attendees additional First Aid training and instructions on how to implement and conduct courses.
The FAIW is a 3-day workshop:
-Day 1: Demonstration of quality skills
-Day 2: Methodology to teach and administer these courses
-Day 3: Final teaching evaluations.
First Aid Instructor Trainer:
Candidates will work with the Examiner(s) to evaluate the First Aid Instructor candidates as they learn the skills required to teach the First Aid Programs.
