At Josephine, we love Beaujolais Nouveau! But the story of the Beaujolais wine region goes way beyond the sweet bubblegum wines that take over wineshops every fall.

Beaujolais has ten very prestigious Cru-level regions that produce rich and complex wines on extremely mineral-laden soils. Of course, due to the domestic demand of Cru Beaujolais in France, these styles can be tricky to find here in the United States.

So this year, we're not ending our celebration at Beaujolais Nouveau Day. We have decided to pull out our favorite Cru Beaujolais to share with our guests. Our Wine Director will lead an in-depth seated tasting of all 10 Cru Beaujolais wines that may make you look at this wine region in a whole new way
