Ali Wick is a country, pop, folk, neo-soul songwriter. In 2024, she already has seven-plus confirmed cuts. A dual citizen (Canadian/American), Ali’s songs range from sounding like Alison Krauss to Regina Spektor with a hint of Tones and I. She is writing at a song-a-day pace. Ali’s next EP comes out early 2024 with a seven-stop Alberta tour. It is what you get when you combine a music theatre and an emo kid. Her last EP ‘Baja Sessions’ was crafted during an artist residency at El Ganzo Records in Mexico (Rayland Baxter, LP).
Delirium Street Party Brass is a groundbreaking ensemble from Calgary steadily building a reputation as one of the premiere brass bands in Canada. The group blends jazz elements from the New Orleans street-band tradition with pop stylings, using its unique, percussion-and-horns-centred instrumentation to deliver a new take on the growing brass band genre. DSPB’s diverse mix of Calgary musicians represent three generations of professionals who all share a love for large ensemble energy and improvisation. Their debut album, The Alberta Sessions EP is a reimaging of songs hand-selected by the producers from the catalogues of Alberta legends.
