Gadfly was formed by Homa and Nigel. It’s a bilingual, genre obliterating scream in the face of erasure, repression, and whatever fake shit the scene is selling. It’s not punk. It’s not metal. It’s not shoegaze. It’s not indie. It’s all of it chewed up and spit back out with distortion and disgust.
Think: a loud, sketchy basement show with nihilistic lyrics and a fullblown meltdown. Think: sweating through trauma in Farsi and English. Think: grief and rage slamming into a strobe light at the same time. And this is just the beginning. DIY label. No management. No rules. Just noise, guts, and the need to rupture. Gadfly isn’t trying to make sense they’re trying to melt your face off.
