A tour on the history of Fortnum & Mason
About this Event

With a history stretching back over 300 years, Fortnum & Mason’s story is one full of surprises and endless intrigue. Join our archivist for a 90 minute-long tour of the building (with tastings) and hear the fascinating tales behind the nation’s favourite corner shop, ending in true Fortnum’s style with a cup of freshly brewed tea and a selection of nibbles.

Tours take place from 11am - 1pm and cost £60 per person. Why not make a day of it and book lunch or afternoon tea, too? Guests are asked to meet in our 5th floor lobby.

Our Delicious History tours welcome all visitors. However, please note that Fortnum’s is a large building with a lot of stairs, and the tour involves quite a bit of walking (While the store is fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility requirements, there is one room on the tour that is not accessible by wheelchair. We kindly ask that anyone requiring assistance contact our Customer Services team prior to booking, so we can discuss options and arrange suitable alternatives where possible.)
