Dead Poets Society (1989) Rated PG. He was their inspiration. He made their lives extraordinary.
A new English teacher, John Keating (Robin Williams), is introduced to an all-boys preparatory school that is known for its ancient traditions and high standards. He uses unorthodox methods to reach out to his students, who face enormous pressures from their parents and the school. With Keating’s help, students Neil Perry (Robert Sean Leonard), Todd Anderson (Ethan Hawke) and others learn to break out of their shells, pursue their dreams and seize the day.
Concessions will be available to purchase on site. Rain dates will be scheduled as needed. Parking begins at 8 pm and the movie starts at dusk.
Drive In Information
PLEASE READ:
Each ticket includes popcorn and a beverage.
-Additional concessions options will be available for purchase on site including snacks and adult beverages.
PARKING:
-First come first served.
-Large vehicles such as vans and pickup trucks will parked as to not obstruct the view of other film goers
-Pick up trucks can be parked "backwards" if you intend to watch from the bed of your truck.
**IMPORTANT**
**To transmit the sound of the film your vehicle must be turned on in the "accessory position". Please consult your vehicle owner's manual, or google a tutorial, on this procedure prior to arriving at the drive-in.
**Please be aware that your vehicle will be running on it's battery for the length of the film!
Drive In staff will be equipped to assist you if your vehicle should need a jump at the end of the evening.
**Please be aware that for an optimal viewing experience all vehicle lights (head lights, tail lights, running lights etc) MUST be turned off during the film.
If your vehicle's lights cannot be turned off while running in the accessory position, please make arrangements to cover your lights.
We suggest black plastic (cut up a contractor's bag), or dark fabric, and painters tape.
ALTERNATIVELY
A battery operated, portable FM radio will also work for the purpose of viewing a drive in film, thus negating the need for your vehicle to run altogether.
Cell phone radio apps WILL. NOT. WORK.
