The DeKalb Green New Deal is Commissioner Terry’s people-powered, holistic approach to the dual challenges of our time: income inequality and environmental injustice. This festival is an opportunity for DeKalb County residents to get involved with the DeKalb Green New Deal, learn about the county’s sustainability initiatives, connect with community, and ultimately walk away with hope for a more sustainable and equitable future.

Artists To Be Announced

The DeKalb Green New Deal Festival: Concert for Climate Justice is in partnership with JFly Music Group and will feature a variety of artists in the R&B, Gospel, Funk, and Blues genres.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and stay late to experience the entire event. You will not want to miss an interactive workshop, delicious food, fun games, community showcase, and dancing the night away with musical performances by JFly and Friends featuring a variety of artists in the R&B, Gospel, Funk, and Blues genres. The Super District 6 Office expects hundreds of attendees from across DeKalb County.

The DeKalb Green New Deal Festival: Concert for Climate Justice is also in partnership with District 1 Commissioner Robert Patrick, District 2 Commissioner Michelle Long Spears, District 4 Commissioner Chakira Johnson, District 5 Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson, and Super District 7 Commissioner LaDena Bolton.
