Errol and Alex Rita's Touching Bass unite Dego's 2000Black and Theo Parrish's Sound Signature, two giants of soulful electronic music, for a one-off live reimagining of their works.Theo Parrish, Detroit-based DJ, producer and founder of Sound Signature, is world-renowned for his raw, afro-futurist sound and commitment to electronic music as a Black art form. A fixture of global underground culture and member of supergroup 3 Chairs, Parrish brings his 'sound sculpture' approach to the stage alongside vocalists Monica Blair, Ideeyah and Khadeeja Grace.
Dego has been a driving force in Black British music for over 30 years. From sound system culture and pirate radio to pioneering work with 4hero, founding 2000BLACK and shaping broken beat, his music blends jazz, soul, techno and futurist electronics. Rarely performing live, this marks a special full-scale appearance with the 2000Black Family.
