Defying Gravity in STREAM: Educators Rising at EdCamp 2025

As a cohort of Catholic elementary schools in the greater Kansas City Metro, we are dedicated to fostering high-quality, student-centered learning. Through our STREAM Initiative partnership with the Brown Family Foundation of Kansas City, we prioritize professional development that supports relevant and rigorous 21st-century learning.

On Friday, April 4h, we will hold our Fourth Annual Edcamp, providing a space where our educators can engage in meaningful conversations, share ideas, and strengthen our collective commitment to excellence. The Edcamp model empowers our educators by fostering open dialogue, promoting innovative teaching strategies, and encouraging cross-school collaboration. By supplementing traditional professional development with this flexible, participant-led approach, we ensure that our teachers not only learn best practices but also have a voice in shaping their professional growth, enhancing the learning experience for all students.
