Manny at K9PT comes from a shelter dog training background. From running training programs at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter to having worked for Dogs Playing For Life, he has handled high caliber dogs. Difficult dogs from shelter organizations and dogs from exposed fight ring organizations, Manny has experience handling more challenging dogs than the average trainer. His background as a black belt in martial arts and as a professional dog trainer give him expertise in teaching defensive dog handling.
Chris from Enlighten Dog Training has a background with Animal Control and law enforcement via the City of Redlands Police Department. There he was a Ranger. He also worked in and helped manage a Police and Military Kennel, VLK West. At VLK West he trained the dogs and humans in bite work for K9 Units. From handling challenging situations on the farm, to working with difficult dogs professionally, Chris has a lot of experience in defensive handling and teaching others dog safety.
