Deerubbin Centre 20 Year Anniversary Celebration

In 2025, Hawkesbury City Council is celebrating the 20 years of Windsor’s arts and culture hub, the Deerubbin Centre–and the community is invited to join the festivities at the official anniversary celebration on Friday, 14 November 2025.

Since opening in 2005, the Deerubbin Centre has been a vital hub for arts, learning, and community connection. This special event will showcase the vibrant offerings within the centre, with activities planned across all three levels and throughout the surrounding grounds.

What's going to be there:

• Extended opening hours at Hawkesbury Central Library and Hawkesbury Regional Gallery until 8pm
• Ukelele performance by Three Degrees of Separation
• Pyjama Storytime in the Library
• Historical Site Tours of the Old Hawkesbury Hospital Mortuary (sign up on the day required)
• Art Up Late in the Gallery
• Live music by Mady Disbray
• FREE Face Painting
• Outdoor games and activities
• Book Sale
• Book Matchmaking
• Local Studies & Family History help desk
• Spin the Wheel activation with Golden Ticket raffle
• Sausage Sizzle
• Coffee Cart
• Ice Cream Truck

• SMILE! Your attendance at events supported by Hawkesbury City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. • By registering and attending this event, you are agreeing to comply with the Hawkesbury Library Service Patron Code Of Conduct.

• Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult to all Library activities.

• If you are unable to attend please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the programme.

• Paid tickets are not transferable.

Info: Groove along to a bit of pop, some rock'n'roll, a touch of country and a lot of soul, with musical performances from Three Degrees of Separation ukulele trio. Performance located in Rex Stubbs Memorial Gardens.

Info: Enjoy cosy stories, songs, fun and of course late-night snacks in the Library. Wear your PJs and bring
along your favourite plushy. Located at Central Library, Windsor in the Children's section.
