Workshop - The Attuned Listening Experience Workshop with Jane Rigler

90-minute interactive workshop introduction into the practice of Deep Listening.

Soundwalk - The Silent Soundwalk Experience with Jane Rigler
Saturday, October 25, 2025 - 11:00am
70-minute session including a communal, slow walk and playful interactive expressive opportunities. All ages welcome. Note: This experience will include a slow walk through indoor and outdoor spaces.

Concert - Featuring music by Pauline Oliveros, Terry Riley and more
Saturday, October 25, 2025 - 7:00pm
75-minute performance featuring a chamber ensemble and interactive sonic meditations. All ages welcome.

Deep Listening, as developed by Pauline Oliveros, explores the difference between the involuntary nature of hearing and the conscious nature of listening. The practice includes bodywork, sonic meditations, and interactive performance, as well as listening to the sounds of daily life, nature, one’s own thoughts, imagination, and dreams. It cultivates a heightened awareness of the sonic environment, both external and internal, and promotes experimentation, improvisation, collaboration, playfulness, and other creative skills vital to personal and community growth.
