The legendary DC DJ India is a native Washingtonian that has been spinning since the age of 10. As one of the nation's first female deejays, she is a trailblazer that has kept over one million people— literally—dancing for over three decades. She is a major force and well-respected pioneer in the industry, setting the tone as one of the most admired deejays in the world. 

India's frequent travels to NYC and Baltimore peaked her undying interest in the genre of house music at a very young age. Her admiration for deejays such as Larry Levin, Kenny Dope, Little Louie Vega, Tony Humpries, and Frankie Knuckles confirmed her love for house music. She is one of the key pioneers that spun house music when it was only popular with college students and the gay community in Washington, DC.

Now, DC DJ India is returning to her roots by spinnin’ strictly deep house and disco every Sunday at Cloak & Dagger on U St. If you haven’t attended one of DC DJ India’s events, you are in for a great time at Reverb House Music Sundays!
