FOGDRIVER aus Giengen/Heidenheim kreieren eine abwechslungsreiche und dynamische Melange aus harmonischen Gitarrenklängen, harten Riffs sowie verspieltem Bass und lässig treibendem Schlagzeug.
In einer klassischen Dreier-Besetzung, die gänzlich auf Vocals verzichtet, schrauben sich melancholische Parts langsam und subtil in die Gehörgänge und bleiben dort angenehm und nachhaltig sitzen.
Um den Songs einen tiefen Charakter zu verleihen, bricht die Band immer wieder brachial aus, sorgt für cineastische Ausschweifungen und erweitert ihr Songgefühl um ein Vielfaches.
Ganz klar steht bei den drei Instrumentalisten der Song im Vordergrund, die einzelnen Kompositionen wirken wie kleine Organismen, die sich nach und nach entwickeln, sich Schichten zulegen und wieder abwerfen.
Diese Eindrücke werden in sphärischer Bildsprache durch Live-Visuals unterstützt, durch die es FOGDRIVER schaffen, den Zuhörer auf eine Reise durch Raum und Zeit mitzunehmen.

Valerio Tricoli
will present an improvisation on the RevoxB77 tape recorder and sampler, a sort of real-time version of Musique Concrète.
The sound used will be mostly taken from his upcoming compositional record "Say Goodbye to The Wind'', a work inspired by the early short novels of James Ballard and Samuel Beckett's "Le Dépeupleur", works which are thematically linked in their detailed description of a small segregated world - an interior, nightmarish landscape of the mind.
Valerio Tricoli (Palermo, Italy, 1977) is a composer and performer of electro-acoustic music, currently based in Munich.
Aligned to the tradition of Musique Concrète, his electro-acoustic studio compositions explore themes of the internal - represented both by the psychological and the physical - which together with the use of spoken text and literary references, makes them often deeply existential works, self-investigations of the psychological, emotional and irrational horror within.
Since the mid '00 is main instruments for live presentations and sound manipulation is the Revox B77 reel-to-reel tape recorder, used as a completely analogue device for live sampling and real-time transformation / editing / mixing of pre-recorded (field or studio recordings) and made-on-the-spot sound sources, the latter usually being vocalizations (including speech and singing), acoustic and electronic instruments and everyday objects.
On a formal level both his improvised live-sets and his compositions focus on the creation of a narrative which takes into account the multiple relations intervening between reality, virtuality and memory during the acoustic event: sounds are always hovering between the "here and now" and the shady domain of memory - distant but at the same time present like in a deja-vu experience.
