Join Sam Courts and Luka Ruzic on Feb 11th for a deep dive into the principles and mechanics of whipping. This is an ideal workshop for students with little to no whipping experience as well as for folks who want to expand their whips repertoire or refine their technique to make whip pops more successful.As time and student experience allows, we'll cover such topics as:
- General principles
- Spotting
- Tarzan (front swing)
- Reverse Tarzan
- Back Whip
- Reverse Back Whip
- Rising Whips
Although we will not be teaching any whip pops in this workshop, we will offer direction on how to modify whips depending on where students want to take them.
Prerequisites include comfort and stability in side stars and hip spinny machines like Ninja Star, as well as range of motion in hands free bird.
