This session is designed to reinforce our understanding of anatomy and how our body is designed to move, and then explore self-massage and modern movement techniques that can help us feel and function better. Learn not just how to move and massage, but how to strategically design a practice sequence with a particular goal in mind to bring the body into a better state of balance.
This session can provide tremendous insight for:
Everyone…yes, everyone.
+ Positions: Those who sit or stand too much in chronic positions that take the spine out of its natural alignment.
+ Activities: Pretty much any sport that moves the spine, torso and/or neck, those who want to improve breathing quality and capacity (runners/swimmers/athletes of any kind), those who want to improve their back bends, rotational capacity, and posture.
+ Pain/Disfunction: Back pain, scar tissue, emotional pain (depression/anxiety), digestive, and breathing disorders.
