Jazz Generations Initiative New Orleans welcomes you to Deep Dish Listening: Bounce, featuring “The Mother of Twerk” Cheeky Blakk and ethnomusicologist and author of Can’t Be Faded: Twenty Years in the New Orleans Brass Band Game by Dr. Kyle DeCoste. Deep Dish Listening is an opportunity for audiences to listen to vinyl and hear from experts on different genres of music in a relaxed and informal setting. Are you ready to hear “Bounce” like you’ve never heard it before? Please come and bring your twerk team!
