Deep Blue, a new work by local play wright Gregg Irwin, is a timely exploration of the ways in which humans and artificial intelligence may interact in the near future while working closely together. Chris is the solo human element in an undersea data center run by four AIs each with their own responsibilities…and personalities. This taut, engaging drama unfolds with heart and plenty of humor as Chris and his new AI crew learn to work together while navigating the many challenges of living in isolation at the bottom of the ocean.
For the audition:

- Must be 18 yrs. of age or older to audition.
- If cast there will be a read through on Nov. 11th where we'll discuss the full rehearsal schedule.

- This play is not a musical but there is an element of singing. Take a listen to this sea shanty and be prepared to sing a bit of it in a group and maybe even solo. We will have the lyrics printed out so you don't have to have it memorized. Don't panic! Again, it's not a musical this is just an element within the story. Have fun with this, it's a sea shanty! SOON MAY THE WELLERMAN COME
